“I am an activist, an antifascist, a queer person, a foster kid, a punk, an anticapitalist, a trans man, and a photographer. My photography career started 6 years ago in a small village close to Nijmegen (Netherlands), working and exploring as a nature photographer. Photography used to be a means of escape to me but has grown to be the way I confront the world. I express my views on the world and criticize certain social injustices and structures. I explore topics like human rights, the housing crisis, queer liberation, sexual freedom and political systems. My aim is to expose these structures and injustices, giving space for open and safe conversation. I do this by combining photojournalism, documentary work, research and staged imagery. Through my practice I hope to find and create communities to connect with likeminded people who want to share their voices with me. Community means everything to me.”
