About us

Queer Gallery is an international platform founded in 2024 by Dutch artist Prins de Vos.

The platform was created from a clear need: a space where queer artists are not only visible, but actively connected to opportunities, audiences and collaborations across borders.

Queer Gallery builds and maintains a carefully curated, global network of queer artists. From this network, we work with organisations, cultural institutions and platforms to develop exhibitions, editorial content and creative collaborations.

Alongside this, Queer Gallery presents a collection of limited edition art prints by artists within the network. These works are available in fixed editions and formats, produced with transparency and fairness, ensuring that artists receive a fair share of each sale. A portion of the proceeds is also donated to queer initiatives.

At its core, Queer Gallery is a community-driven platform. It exists to create space, visibility and long-term support for queer artists worldwide.

Founder Prins:

“As a queer artist, I know firsthand how our stories contribute to the emancipation of our community. They connect us, give us a voice, and allow us to claim space in a world that often tries to minimize us.

Queer Gallery was born from this conviction: the need to bring forward the often-overlooked work of queer artists, and to create structures that support them beyond visibility alone.

Too often, queer art is reduced to stereotypes, misunderstood, or excluded from larger cultural contexts. At the same time, it is increasingly present, yet still undervalued within the art world.

Queer Gallery exists within that tension. It is not only a space to show work, but a platform that actively connects artists to opportunities, collaborations and audiences.

By building a global network and working with partners across different contexts, we aim to strengthen the position of queer artists and ensure their work is seen, valued and sustained.

Queer Gallery is a community-driven platform for visibility, connection and long-term support. A space where queer artists can share their work on their own terms, and where their stories are recognized for their depth, diversity and significance.”
