“My name is Jesse van Dijk (17), I am a young photographer from the Netherlands with a passion for storytelling through images. My work focuses on underexposed topics such as gender identity and mental health. I see photography as a form of therapy for both myself and my subjects. I capture people as they really are and give a voice to those who are often not heard. By creating intimate portraits, I create a safe space for sharing feelings and stories. I hope to expand my work through exhibitions and publications, focusing on openness and self-acceptance.”
