Daniel Keys is a photographic artist and educator based in London.

His work blends documentary, fine art, and portraiture through a conceptual lens, using natural and incidental light to capture the slow unfolding of time and to evoke a quiet, reflective, and often unsettling atmosphere.

Exploring themes of class, gender, and sexuality, his images deconstruct societal expectations and seek to communicate the unsaid through body language, light, colour, and composition.

A winner of the British Journal of Photography’s Portrait of Britain award, Keys has exhibited across the UK, Europe, Canada, and the United States. His current practice continues to examine the subtleties of identity and human connection through intimate and observational storytelling.
