Abby Masoumi
Iran
Abby Masoumi (1983, Qom, Iran) is a queer artist working in drawing, textiles and embroidery to chart memory, intimacy and voice under constraint. Grounded in a family lineage of weaving, he turns sequins, veils and dowry cloth into political-poetic surfaces, while drawing anchors composition and gesture. He lives and works in Iran; his work circulates internationally.
